![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Compare that to Unity - I have played a bit of a Unity game lately called Windscape, man and that one feels extremely undercooked und bugged. But even with that the base gameplay mechanics are pretty solid and you can get something perfectly playable no matter what. It is clear that older RPG Maker games have their limits when it comes to mechanics, I did maps for years on RPG Maker and know that there are still a lot of limitations that you can't avoid no matter how clever you are with the Engine. Nontheless, I had a ton of fun with that game, but I must say that my initial impression was a bit lowered because of that. I bought Hylics not too long ago and actually didn't know it was an older RPG Maker game, but the Arrow Key controls and stuff like the Message Text speed and the Menu made it quickly clear. ![]()
